This is a six‑month maternity cover opportunity within a complex, multinational matrix organisation, offering the chance to play a key role in supporting the business through a period of ongoing transformation. With a primary focus on the UK, the role also provides exposure to international people strategy across EMEA and other regions. Partnering closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders, the role shapes and delivers people strategies that support business continuity, organisational change, and compliance. Combining strategic HR partnering with hands‑on operational delivery, this position is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, international environment and is comfortable influencing at senior level.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic HR partner to the business, supporting employee life cycle activities, organisational restructuring and change initiatives.
- Collaborate with the International Senior Leadership Team, Finance, and other key stakeholders to align people strategies with business objectives.
- Lead and support compliance initiatives across EMEA and other regions, with a focus on employment law and regulatory requirements, including oversight of compliance activities in Italy and the Middle East, supported by a team member based in Italy.
- Drive strategic initiatives to enhance employee experience and address business needs, with particular emphasis on UK-specific programs such as Pension Salary Sacrifice Scheme.
- Manage compensation-related processes, including international role alignment and market benchmarking.
- Provide day-to-day HR support for employees in the UK, Italy, Australia, Middle East, and PEO entities.
- Oversee immigration and visa processes for the Middle East, including applications, renewals, and compliance tracking, and support entity establishment activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
- Partner with Centres of Excellence (CoEs), particularly Operations and Compensation, to improve data integrity and optimise processes, working closely with People Strategists and HRIS teams globally to ensure effective delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience as an HRBP in the UK.
- You are an amazing communicator, able to effectively work with discretion and sensitivity across all levels of the business that is exhibited during the interview process.
- Handles ambiguity well – thrives in it.
- You are a natural problem solver and a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- You have first-hand experience of working environments in the UK including excellent knowledge of local employment law and regulations, compensation.
