Carer
Omnicare Services Limited is a domiciliary care provider offering services in Leeds. We are looking for carers who are caring, compassionate and committed to enable people to live safely and independently in their own homes for as long as possible. Your role will be crucial in ensuring these people have the best quality of life and help them to remain at home whilst being supported in some daily tasks. We work in a person-centred way to ensure that we meet the client\βs needs.
Your duties may include: (although each client is different)
- To provide a service that is inline with the service users care plan and choice
- To travel to Service Users as directed
- To report any significant changes in the health and/or circumstances of the service user to the Registered Manager.
- To comply with Omnicare Services Limited guidelines and policies at all times.
- Prompting and/or administering medication
- Responding to emergency situations
- Ensuring your client is safe in their home
- To carry out personal and caring tasks that are not the responsibility of a Nurse, but which could normally be expected to be undertaken by a member of the family.
- Personal Care (Washing, bathing, dressing, undressing and toileting)
- Some meal preparation
- Household Duties
- Assisting with social activities/appointments
- To complete all administrative documents accurately
Although training will be given, a knowledge and some experience is highly beneficial. But a calm, compassionate attitude is key.
Full UK driving licence and have own transport preferred, however non-drivers may be considered.

Job Requirements:
- Valid DBS
- Valid Driving Licence
- Good English β (Verbal and Written)
- Great Communication Skills
- Previous experience of working in a similar environment preferred but not essential
Working Hours:
Day Schedule:
- Morning Calls 7:00 am β 10:30 am
- Lunch Calls 11:00 am β 2:30 pm
- Tea Calls 3:00 pm β 6:00 pm
- Bed Calls 7:00 pm β 10:30 pm
Night Schedule:
- Night Sits/Waking Nights 22:00 β 07:00
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From Β£12.82 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Leeds: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Spinal Injury: 1 year (preferred)
- Support Worker: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
