We are looking for a Mid-Level to Senior UI Designer to support a team of designers, providing training and mentorship. Together with the UX team, you’ll be responsible for building and implementing a design thinking culture.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to create exceptional digital products.
  • Effectively manage time within a project to facilitate the delivery of a digital product on budget and on time.
  • Look at current interfaces and websites, suggesting improvements to both UX and UI.
  • Create visual experiences for customer-facing web, mobile, and tablet-based applications.
  • Transform wireframes into original, creative mock-ups.
  • Inspire users with attractive, compelling designs while maintaining visual consistency and brand identity.
  • Communicate with product team members to understand and interpret project requirements.
  • Provide artistic direction and feedback on UI team projects.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design e-mails, promotions, online ads, and marketing collateral when required.
  • Create base design systems for our projects which include the modules, components, and style sheets.
Job Requirements:
  • Passion for outstanding, elegant design.
  • Understanding and appreciation of standard user interface design concepts and processes.
  • 7+ years experience in visual user interface design.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma.
  • Knowledge of other creative programmes, such as Miro, Zeplin, and Maze are also preferred.
  • Use prototyping tools like Sketch and Figma to communicate ideas and concepts, and to test with real customers to encourage collaboration and iterative processes.
  • Actively participate in concept development and design ideation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with development, back-end, and front-end teams during the build stage.
  • Experience in brand design or working with brand designers.
  • Exceptional organisation skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to support the delivery of multiple design requests in a timely fashion.
Education:

Degree in computer science/engineering/information technology.
