Permanent position – Salary: £13.60–£14.60 per hour (AM: 06:00‑14:00; PM: 14:00‑22:00). Shift pattern: 5 days out of 6 (Sunday off).
Responsibilities
- Pick orders accurately while operating at heights of up to 14 meters.
- Work from a standing position in very narrow aisles (VNA environment).
- Perform general manual handling and warehouse duties.
- Follow all site safety procedures including rope escape awareness (covered at induction).
- Support team operations and maintain a clean and organised work area.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Comfortable working at height and using rope escape equipment in emergencies.
- HLOP experience highly desirable (VNA experience also considered).
- Physically fit and able to work in a standing, manual role.
- Flexible to work a 5‑out‑of‑6 shift pattern (Sunday always off, all other Saturdays required).
- Own transport essential due to limited public transport options.
- No licence required – full training provided.
- Warehouse and FLT (forklift) experience required.
- Must complete DBS check and Drug & Alcohol test.
