We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (Wagon & Drag) Drivers for a well-established client based in Lanark. This role involves trunking deliveries to a regional depot, returning with a loaded trailer. Full training is provided.
Each route typically takes around six hours per run. Once back on site, drivers will be required to assist with light yard duties to help prepare vehicles and trailers for the following shift. Shift times typically 16.00 starts, with 10 hour shifts.
HGV 1 Driver - The must haves:
- HGV 1 Manual Licence
- Max 6 points
- No DR, DD, IN10's
- CPC & Digi Tacho Card
- Adhere to all health & safety policies
- Willing to have a Drug & Alcohol and CRC check
Pay Rates & Benefits as an HGV 1 Driver:
- £17.75 ph + Bonus
- £26.62 overtime paid for working a 6th shift
- £750 quarterly Bonus
- Permanent salary £44,304 + £3000 Bonus
