Omnia Resourcing is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their brand-new distribution centre in Rugby. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new warehouse operation from the very beginning, helping to shape a successful team and build strong working practices.

Key Responsibilities as Warehouse Team Leader:
  • Lead, motivate and support a team of warehouse operatives to achieve daily targets.
  • Allocate workloads and monitor team performance throughout the shift.
  • Ensure all warehouse operations are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with company procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, productivity and housekeeping.
  • Support the training and development of new and existing team members.
  • Work closely with management to improve processes and drive operational performance.
  • Monitor attendance, performance and team engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and warehouse best practices.
Requirements as Warehouse Team Leader:
  • Previous experience in a Warehouse Team Leader or Supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good IT skills and the ability to work with warehouse management systems.
  • Flexibility and commitment to maintaining high operational standards.
