We are recruiting experienced Warehouse Operatives with FLT to join a busy air cargo operation at Heathrow. This is a mixed role involving general warehouse duties and forklift operation as required. Valid FLT experience is essential. All candidates will be assessed by the client's in-house FLT trainer.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and unloading cargo using a forklift and mechanical handling equipment
- Manual handling duties
- Using handheld scanners to locate and track cargo
- Completing paperwork in line with client procedures
- Handling special cargo in accordance with regulations
- Building, breaking down, and palletising freight
- Proven FLT experience (on-site assessment required)
- Valid Counterbalance or Reach Forklift licence
- Previous warehouse or cargo handling experience preferred
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Security Clearance (CAA)
Due to the airside environment, all successful candidates must complete aviation security checks in line with Civil Aviation Authority requirements, including:
- Basic UK criminal record check
- Overseas criminal record check (if applicable within the last 5 years)
- Full 5-year employment and address history verification
