We are currently recruiting motivated and reliable Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join our client's warehouse team in Ashby De La Zouch. This is a fast-paced warehouse role involving the safe and efficient operation of a Counterbalance Forklift Truck, alongside general warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Counterbalance FLT to load, unload and move stock around the warehouse
- Transport goods safely and efficiently within the warehouse and yard areas
- Load and unload vehicles as required
- Carry out general warehouse and manual handling duties
- Follow all site health and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet operational targets
Requirements:
- A valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence is essential
- Previous Counterbalance FLT driving experience
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties
- Reliable, punctual and flexible
- Must be able to work the assigned shift pattern
- Own transport essential due to limited public transport options
