We are currently recruiting experienced 7.5T / Class 2 Drivers to join our client - one of the UK's largest suppliers of furniture. This is an ongoing position with the opportunity for permanent work. You will be carrying out home deliveries with a driver's mate, ensuring goods are delivered to the customer's room of choice while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete scheduled home deliveries safely and on time
- Drive in a professional manner, following all road and company safety procedures
- Work as part of a 2-person team to deliver furniture to customer homes
- Provide friendly, helpful, and professional service
- Communicate with customers, calling ahead when required
- Support with the movement and placement of furniture items
Requirements:
- Valid 7.5T or Class 2 licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card (essential)
- Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy furniture
- Physically fit due to the nature of the role
- Good level of spoken English
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
