Shifts & Pay Rates:
- Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday shift patterns
- 6:00 pm – 4:30 am – £16.63 per hour
- 8:00 pm – 6:30 am – £16.88 per hour
Full training provided. Own transport essential due to site location.
Purpose of the Role
To lead and support a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring daily targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading, motivating, and supervising a team of warehouse operatives
- Driving productivity and ensuring daily KPIs and targets are met
- Monitoring workflow and allocating tasks effectively across the team
- Supporting training and development of team members
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Conducting team briefings and providing regular performance feedback
- Working closely with management to resolve operational issues
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on shift performance
- Ensuring quality standards and operational procedures are consistently met
- Supporting a positive and productive team environment
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Team Leader or supervisory role within a warehouse environment
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Flexible and reliable approach to work
- Good IT skills and understanding of warehouse systems
- Own transport required due to location
