Location: Sittingbourne

Shifts & Pay Rates:

  • Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday shift patterns
  • 6:00 pm – 4:30 am – £16.63 per hour
  • 8:00 pm – 6:30 am – £16.88 per hour

Full training provided. Own transport essential due to site location.

Purpose of the Role

To lead and support a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring daily targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading, motivating, and supervising a team of warehouse operatives
  • Driving productivity and ensuring daily KPIs and targets are met
  • Monitoring workflow and allocating tasks effectively across the team
  • Supporting training and development of team members
  • Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Conducting team briefings and providing regular performance feedback
  • Working closely with management to resolve operational issues
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on shift performance
  • Ensuring quality standards and operational procedures are consistently met
  • Supporting a positive and productive team environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Team Leader or supervisory role within a warehouse environment
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Flexible and reliable approach to work
  • Good IT skills and understanding of warehouse systems
  • Own transport required due to location
