We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (Wagon & Drag) Drivers for a well-established client based in Avonmouth. This role involves trunking deliveries to The Midlands or Southwest, returning with a loaded trailer. Full training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced drivers.
Each route typically takes around 6 / 7 hours per run. Once back on site, drivers will be required to assist with light yard duties to help prepare vehicles and trailers for the following shift. Choice of start times between 14:00 and 19:00. 48 hours + per week.
The must haves:
- HGV 1 Licence. Max 6 points. No DR, DD, IN10's
- CPC & Digi Tacho Card
- Adhere to all health & safety policies
- All drivers will be required to have a drug & alcohol test
Pay Rates & Benefits as an HGV 1 Driver:
- £18.75 ph + Bonus £750 quarterly
- £28.12 ph paid for working a 6th shift
- Permanent salary circa £49,800 + benefits including CPC's, days off at Christmas, private health insurance, fun events, raffles with prizes including holidays & iPads
