We're recruiting Van Delivery Drivers for a leading bedroom furniture supplier. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity with no weekend work and the chance to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.
The Role
- Deliver bedroom furniture to customers' homes
- Carry furniture into the customer's room of choice (heavy lifting involved)
- Provide excellent customer service on every delivery
- Assemble/install furniture once trained
- Complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
- Use a PDA to update deliveries
- Keep your vehicle clean, safe and organised
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Commercial van driving experience in the UK (Minimum 1 years experience)
- Good knowledge of UK road laws and safe driving practices
- Physically fit for heavy lifting
- Friendly, professional and customer-focused
- DBS check required
