We are currently recruiting both newly qualified and experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for a well-established client based near Rochester. Full training is provided, with immediate starts available.
Salary: £45,552 + £5,200 bonus + excellent benefits
Role: Temp-to-perm role | Monday-Friday - weekends free!
Working Hours: Guaranteed 48 hours per week, typically 5-8 deliveries per shift. Start times between 04:00-05:00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working as part of a 2-person delivery team alongside an experienced driver's mate
- Ensuring safe and professional driving at all times
- Delivering goods directly to customers' homes
- Handling heavy items as part of the role
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence or higher (maximum 6 points; no DR, DD, IN10 endorsements)
- CPC qualification and Digital Tacho card
- Strong commitment to health & safety procedures
- Willingness to undergo a CRC check, plus drug and alcohol test
Pay & Benefits:
- Weekday rate: £18.25 per hour + bonus
- Overtime (6th shift): £27.37 per hour
- Quarterly bonus of £1,300
