Employment Solutions is recruiting an experienced Tekla CAD Technician to join an established structural steelwork and fabrication engineering business based in Widnes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CAD Technician looking to develop their career within a specialist engineering environment, working on varied structural steelwork and fabrication projects.
The Role
- Produce accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.
- Prepare detailed fabrication and assembly drawings.
- Use AutoCAD to produce and amend technical drawings.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Ensure drawings meet fabrication and manufacturing standards.
- Liaise with engineers, fabricators and project teams.
- Maintain high levels of drawing accuracy and quality.
About You
- Tekla Structures experience - Essential
- AutoCAD experience - Essential
- Strong understanding of structural steelwork and fabrication processes.
- Experience producing 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Comfortable working independently and within an engineering team.
