MIG Welder / Structural Welder - £19.85ph + OvertimeLocation: WinsfordShift: Days - Early Finish FridayStart: Immediate Starts AvailableAre you an experienced MIG Welder, Structural Welder or Fabricator Welder with experience working on medium to heavy structural steel?We are recruiting experienced Structural MIG Welders to join a busy structural steel fabrication shop in Winsford, with immediate starts available following a successful weld test.This role would suit welders with experience in heavy fabrication, structural steel and MIG welding thick plate.Pay & Hours£15.24 per hour PAYE£19.85 per hour CIS / UmbrellaOvertime: £22.86 PAYEOvertime: £27.03 CIS / UmbrellaMonday-Thursday: 7:45am - 4:45pmFriday: 7:45am - 12:45pmThe RoleWorking within a structural steel fabrication shop, you will be responsible for:MIG welding mild steelWelding medium to heavy structural steel componentsWorking with thick plate up to 20mmProducing strong, consistent fillet weldsWorking within required tolerancesFollowing engineering drawings and fabrication requirementsMaintaining high standards of weld quality and workmanshipWorking safely within a busy fabrication environmentWhat We're Looking ForCandidates must be:Time-served MIG Welders / Structural WeldersExperienced within medium to heavy structural engineeringConfident MIG welding thick plateExperienced welding mild steelComfortable working within a structural steel fabrication shopAble to produce high-quality structural welds consistentlyExperience as a MIG Welder, Structural Welder, Fabricator Welder, Steelwork Welder or Heavy Fabricator would be highly relevant.Weld TestThe trade test is straightforward and consists of:8mm fillet weld10mm fillet weldImmediate starts are available once the trade test has been successfully completed.
