Chemical Production Operative - Early Shift
Location: Blackburn
Hours: Monday-Friday, 2:00am-9:00am
Salary: £29,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
Contract: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture, pack and label chemical products
- Operate automated/manual machinery, mixing vessels and reactors
- Handle and prepare raw materials
- Record batch information using handheld barcode systems
- Carry out basic QC checks
- Complete production and cleaning records
- Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping
Requirements
- Previous production/manufacturing experience, ideally within chemicals or process manufacturing
- FLT and Reach Truck licence
- Good numerical, IT and communication skills
- Reliable with a strong approach to health & safety
