We are looking for a qualified DBT Therapist to join our growing therapy team. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about working with clients who experience emotional dysregulation, interpersonal difficulties, and complex mental health needs. You’ll be joining a supportive service focused on delivering accessible, ethical, and high-quality therapy.

About the Role

You will provide structured DBT-informed or full DBT therapy to clients, supporting them in building skills around emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. Work may include:

  • One-to-one DBT therapy sessions
  • Skills training (individual or group, if applicable)
  • Risk management and safety planning
  • Collaborative care with other professionals where required
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical notes

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has

  • A recognised core mental health qualification (e.g. Psychology, Counselling, Psychotherapy)
  • Formal DBT training (essential)
  • Experience working with high-risk or emotionally dysregulated clients
  • Confidence in managing risk and safeguarding
  • Professional registration (BACP or NCPS)
  • Professional indemnity insurance
  • The ability to work independently and within a wider clinical team

Desirable:

  • Experience running DBT skills groups
  • Experience working remotely
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practice
