We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Candidate Screening Executive to join our outsourced recruitment delivery team, supporting a high-profile public sector client. This is a fast‑paced, high‑volume role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring the right candidates progress through the recruitment process.

You’ll be responsible for conducting initial candidate assessments, managing communications, and liaising with both internal stakeholders and the client’s talent acquisition team. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to assess candidates fairly and consistently against a behavioural competency framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured telephone screenings to assess candidate suitability based on role requirements and behavioural competencies.
  • Review applications and shortlist candidates using defined criteria and scoring frameworks.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates to the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications to ensure a smooth and professional experience.
  • Liaise with the client’s internal talent team and hiring managers to support recruitment delivery and resolve queries.
  • Maintain high standards of candidate care and represent both our organisation and the client brand professionally.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of screening processes and candidate experience.
