Project Manager (Civil Engineering)
Location: Warwickshire
Our client, a leading UK construction company, is partnering with a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor to deliver a water treatment works project in the Warwickshire area.
As a result, they are looking to appoint a Project Manager to take full ownership of this site-based role, leading the delivery of extensive groundworks, infrastructure installation, and water/sewage treatment structures.
This is a vital, technically complex project requiring a hands-on, commercially astute leader with proven civil engineering delivery experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of project delivery, from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery against programme, budget, and quality KPIs.
- Manage day-to-day site operations, including supervision of labour, subcontractors, materials, and logistics.
- Maintain strict compliance with CDM Regulations and all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) protocols.
- Oversee technical documentation, including RAMS, permits, inspections, and quality audits.
- Liaise with client representatives, attend progress meetings, and proactively resolve issues.
- Maintain and report on project programmes, cost controls, risk registers, and performance metrics.
What Weβre Looking For
- Extensive experience in a Project Manager role within civil engineering or infrastructure construction
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Ideally have some knowledge and experience with Water Treatment AMP7 and AMP8 frameworks
- HND, NVQ Level 7, or equivalent qualification in a construction/civil engineering discipline.
- SMSTS or NEBOSH Construction Certificate, and a valid CSCS Managers Card
- IT literate; proficiency with project planning software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is desirable
