Quality Inspectors in Maidenhead

QUALITY INSPECTOR – MAIDENHEAD Who we are looking for We are looking for people who have experience with post-manufacture quality inspection within the engineering industry, preferably but not necessarily in the Fabrication, Sheet Metal or CNC industry. Necessary experience: * Quality Inspection * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Understanding of tolerances * Use of standard inspection equipment * Understanding of basic quality systems / ISO 9001 About the role Location: Maidenhead Type: Permanent Hours: 40 hours basic / any hours over at time and a half Rate: ~ £35,000 p.a. Working within a busy Sheet Metal/Fabrication workshop. The role will involve post-manufacture quality inspection/control of CNC & fabricated parts and weldments such as: * Measuring parts, checking dimensions against drawings * Identifying non-conforming parts * Raising NCRs / non-conformance report if necessary * Typing up reports * Checking final packs are complete * Liaising with production / welders / supervisors
