We are currently looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated candidates for the position of Housekeeping Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning hotel bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas, ensuring sufficient linen is available for daily operations. Additional cleaning tasks in the Back of House may also be required.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Ensure the delivery of clean linen to designated areas in the hotel by specified deadlines.
  2. Ensure the collection of soiled linen from designated areas in the hotel by specified deadlines.
  3. Check all linen cupboards regularly, maintaining them in a tidy, organized manner and fully stocked.
  4. Keep service areas clean and tidy.
  5. Wait for linen deliveries at specified times.
  6. Transport dirty linen to the linen room, classify, and count it.
  7. Return damaged linen and follow the required procedures for accounting.
  8. Push and pull linen trolleys throughout the hotel.

Additional duties as a Room Attendant include:

  1. Clean hotel rooms to required standards and deadlines.
  2. Complete regular cleaning routines as per training.
  3. Change bed linen and towels, make beds.
  4. Perform high and low dusting and polish furniture.
  5. Clean bathrooms thoroughly.
  6. Vacuum and mop floors.
  7. Re-stock guest supplies and mini bar items.
  8. Re-stock and clean equipment used.

Public Area Cleaner responsibilities:

  1. Clean designated public areas to required standards and deadlines.
  2. Complete regular cleaning routines.
  3. Vacuum, mop floors, and clean windows.
  4. Dust and polish furniture, re-stock supplies.
  5. Attend housekeeping meetings and follow instructions.
  6. Manage keys responsibly.
  7. Report health and safety hazards.
  8. Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in the hotel housekeeping department.
  • Willingness to work and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Confident, professional, and welcoming personality.
