Immediate start following a successful interview. We're hiring an Operational Support Manager to join our fantastic team here at Omni Facilities Management. Established in 1980, Omni Facilities Management is a leading provider of outsourced services to over 150 hotels across the UK, Netherlands, and South Africa. Employing over 4,000 people, Omni provides Housekeeping, Recruitment, Property and Software Services to major hotel groups.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated candidates for the position of Housekeeping Trainer to be responsible for ensuring that all team members are adequately trained in the department to the standard required.

Shift Pattern: Up to 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Sunday (24/7 Operation)

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Train each team member so that they are proficient enough to perform the key tasks and duties required
  • Carry out refresher training and monitor and record trainees’ aptitude to ensure that they are delivering the expected standards in the time allocated
  • Check the grooming standards before the start of the shift
  • Liaise with department management or Area Manager regarding any relevant issues concerning staff
  • Ensure all staff are trained on and fully conversant with all relevant areas of Health & Safety and required training paperwork is completed and signed
  • Ensure all staff are trained on and adhere to policies and procedures, e.g., lost property
  • Ensure employees are re-trained when required
  • Assist with ensuring staff have all the necessary equipment needed to perform their duties
  • Ensure all electrical equipment is in good working order and is checked regularly
  • Complete weekly audits with the Area Manager, where appropriate and action issues
  • Complete quality checks using the Omni Facilities Management quality app daily

PREVIOUS REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience as a Housekeeping Trainer or Deputy Head Housekeeper in a large hotel
  • Excellent knowledge of housekeeping operations
  • Previous experience in delivering training to a diverse range of employees
  • Desirable to have a training qualification
