We are seeking a committed Dermatologist to participate in our outpatient clinics across Cumbria and Lancashire. The role will involve undertaking dermatological diagnostic and surgical procedures as well as autonomous prescribing for patients in a community clinic.

  • Blackburn with Darwen
  • Morecambe Bay
  • Chorley
  • Greater Preston
  • Blackpool
  • Fylde & Wyre
  • West Lancashire

Key Duties:

  • Conduct clinical triage for dermatology referrals and provide thorough assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and advice for both acute and chronic dermatological conditions.
  • Perform minor surgeries, including excision of low-risk basal cell carcinoma, following national guidelines.
  • Conduct audits of clinical standards and contribute to clinical leadership.
  • Provide comprehensive, systematic patient assessments, including consideration of lifestyle impacts.
  • Participate in tele-dermatology clinics to review patient images and establish appropriate care pathways.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care.

Role Requirements:

  • Full GMC registration.
  • MRCP or equivalent.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a community clinic setting.
