We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our established team and be part of a company that genuinely makes a difference to patient care. The Healthcare Assistant plays a vital role within the GP Practice team, supporting the delivery of the full range of NHS Primary Medical Services. You will work alongside our friendly, patient‑focused clinical and management teams, providing essential support to ensure high‑quality, safe, and compassionate care for all patients. This role requires autonomy, discretion, empathy, and sensitivity, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Key Responsibilities
- Phlebotomy
- B12 injections
- Flu vaccinations
- Recording observations such as:
- Blood pressure
- Pulse
- Temperature
- Height and weight
- BMI calculations
- Undertake tasks and duties delegated by clinical and management staff
- Conduct procedures such as blood pressure monitoring, new patient checks, and basic clinical observations
- Support the practice with ordering supplies and equipment
- Assist in the sterilisation and preparation of equipment
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
- Work collaboratively to support smooth clinical operations
Requirements
