Role Overview
Phlebotomist Health Care Assistant – Bank contract, full‐time.
Salary: £15 per hour.
Responsibilities
Support dermatologists and nurses in face‐to‐face clinics.
Assist with minor procedures and conduct phlebotomy and medical photography clinics, including patient questionnaires and specialised imaging.
Provide high‐quality clerical and clinical support, entering patient data accurately into computer systems.
Carry out tasks delegated by clinical and management teams.
Order supplies and equipment.
Explain appointment procedures to patients.
Maintain a safe, clean environment ensuring patient comfort, dignity and privacy.
Ensure confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant in a GP practice, hospital, or other clinical setting.
Phlebotomy qualification and experience collecting and processing venous blood samples.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
Strong communication and confidentiality skills.
Full training provided for the right candidate.
Working Hours
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with potential weekend shifts. Clinic start times as early as 8 am and finish as late as 6 pm.
