We are seeking a committed Dermatologist to participate in our outpatient clinics across Cumbria and Lancashire, undertaking dermatological diagnostic and surgical procedures as well as autonomous prescribing for patients in a community clinic.
Clinic Locations available:
- East Lancashire
- Blackburn with Darwen
- Chorley
- Greater Preston
- Blackpool
- West Lancashire
Main duties of the job:
- Conduct clinical triage for dermatology referrals and provide thorough assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and advice for both acute and chronic dermatological conditions.
- Perform minor surgeries, including excision of low-risk basal cell carcinoma, following national guidelines.
- Conduct audits of clinical standards and contribute to clinical leadership.
- Provide comprehensive, systematic patient assessments, including consideration of lifestyle impacts.
- Participate in tele-dermatology clinics to review patient images and establish appropriate care pathways.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care.
