Our team previously scaled Tessian (cybersecurity tech, backed by Sequoia, Balderton, Accel, acquired post-Series C), and our team includes exâfounders/operators whoâve grown unicorns, shipped worldâclass products, and executed at the highest levels. Youâll work alongside leaders like Ben Freeman, Abhirukt Sapru, Sabrina Castiglione, & Rebe Tristan.
Omnea is scaling fast after raising its Series B in September 2025 and hiring is one of the most important levers we have. Weâre looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join us out of agency and to take endâtoâend ownership of roles for one of our hiring managers, owning the whole process from sourcing to close.
Youâll partner directly with one of our senior stakeholders, depending on which Hiring Manager youâre paired with. This will be one of our Chief Commercial Officer (Abs), VP Customer (Rebe), Head of Product (Rob) or our Engineering Leads. In the interim, youâll dottedâline report into both our CFO (Sabrina) and your primary Hiring Manager partner, but you will report directly to our Talent Leader once theyâre hired.
Youâll work to define and execute a highâquality hiring engine for your area of excellence. Youâll drive everything from sourcing and outreach, to process design, to candidate closing. Youâll help us recruit topâtier talent and position Omnea as one of the best places to build a career.
We are building a very different type of talent function, focused on quality & care rather than volume & speed. This role is for someone who wants to be embedded with senior leaders, have real ownership, and help shape the foundations of Omneaâs team as we continue to scale!
Right now our open talent roles are aligned to:
- Engineering roles (software engineers). HMs: Engineering leadership
- Customer roles (implementation and professional services, technical operations and support, solutions associates). HM: Rebe
What you can expect
- You will help us build Europeâs best talent org from the ground up, thinking from first principles and ensuring we continue to work with only the top 1%.
- Youâll spend a lot of time mapping, outreaching, and contacting candidates, and doing the first stage screening for your team.
- Youâll create the playbook to hire your HMâs roles, making talent a core competitive advantage of Omnea.
- Youâll partner directly with senior leaders & hiring managers to shape role specs, align on success profiles, and constantly hit hiring targets.
- Youâll elevate the hiring bar by coaching interviewers, refining scorecards, and obsessing over what âgreatâ looks like.
- Youâll craft strong outreach and messaging campaigns like a salesperson. Youâll cut through the noise to engage topâtier talent with authentic messaging.
- Youâll shape Omneaâs presence in the market by contributing to employer branding, sharing thought leadership like Absâ blog post on âSelling is Buildingâ, and positioning us as the best place to work for the most ambitious talent.
- Youâll build and nurture a personal network of the top 1% talent; running inviteâonly events, networking with investors, and becoming known as the goâto person for elite hires.
About you
- Youâve got 3-5+ years of experience in agencies placing roles in highâgrowth startups, high growth startâups themselves, or similarly fastâpaced, highâaccountability environments. You know what great looks like in terms of talent and hold a high bar â but youâre also pragmatic, fastâmoving, and solutionsâoriented. 2-3 years in an agency background in your career is a definite plus.
- Youâve got a track record of exceptional performance, whether in work, academics, sports, or anywhere else youâve applied yourself. People trust you to get stuff done & you\âve built a great network in the startup & scaleâup ecosystem.
- Youâre a ruthless prioritiser, highly organised, and focused on outcomes over inputs. Youâre efficient, leveraging AI throughout all your processes, and autonomous without compromising on quality, and you always nail the basics on process, comms, and ATS hygiene.
- Youâre entrepreneurial and want to be part of building a business. Youâre not looking for a narrow recruiter role; you want ownership, influence, and to play a key role in shaping a team through our scaling journey.
- Youâre outcomesâfocused, with a strong bias to action. You donât get stuck in process or theory, you move things forward, fast and get to the right answer by testing. You can hire for both highâvolume and specialised searches for niche roles.
- Youâre a great communicator, i.e. clear, concise, and persuasive. You can write great outreach, pitch to a passive candidate, have exceptional behavioural and competencyâbased interviewing skills, and can hold your own in a strategic conversation with senior leaders.
- Youâre proactive and crave accountability. You donât wait for instructions; you figure out whatâs needed and make it happen. You can execute with little guidance & lots of ambiguity.
