What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an exceptional Engineering Manager to join our engineering leadership team & help scale Omnea with us. As we grow from low double-digit to 200+ enterprise customers and through 10x revenue growth in the next 2-3 years, you’ll play a crucial role in building and leading the engineering teams that will drive this growth. You will be responsible for multiple engineering teams, ensuring they deliver high-quality solutions while maintaining the velocity needed in a fast-growing Series A environment.
You’ll be joining us at the most exciting possible time — we raised an initial $5m seed round from two tier 1 VCs and 30+ renowned founders & angel investors in summer 2022 and have since become one of Europe’s fasting growing SaaS businesses. We’ve built an incredible & passionate engineering team of top performers and we’ve shipped our platform to many renowned & happy customers (Lookout, McAfee, Onfido, Typeform, Tractable, etc.), all whilst managing to stay lean & operate efficiently.

What Can You Expect?
Build & Lead High-Performing Teams:
- Lead multiple engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Drive engineering best practices, quality standards, and performance metrics.
- Mentor and develop engineers, helping them grow their careers and impact.
- Collaborate with Product and Design to ensure optimal team structure and delivery.
Drive Technical Excellence:
- Champion quality improvements across teams while maintaining high velocity.
- Implement and refine engineering processes that scale.
- Facilitate architectural decisions that impact multiple teams.
- Ensure robust monitoring, observability, and incident response processes.
Shape Technical Product Strategy:
- Partner with Product leadership to define and execute our technical roadmap.
- Balance technical debt, feature development, and system reliability.
- Ensure customer feedback drives technical priorities.
About You
Leadership Experience:
- You have 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years managing engineering teams.
- You’ve successfully managed multiple teams simultaneously (typically 2-3 teams/12-20 engineers).
- You have experience as an Engineering Manager at multiple companies, including at least one successful Series A+ SaaS company.
- You’ve demonstrated success in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, particularly in rapid-growth periods.
Technical Excellence:
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in modern web technologies.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture (preferably AWS), and scalability challenges.
- Experience with our stack (TypeScript, React, AWS Serverless) is a plus but not required.
Track Record of Impact:
- Proven history of improving team velocity and quality.
- Experience implementing engineering processes that scale with rapid growth.
- Strong track record of successful project delivery in fast-paced environments.
- Experience working directly with customers and translating their needs into technical solutions.
- Experience scaling engineering teams through rapid growth.
Leadership Style:
- You’re data-driven but know when to trust intuition.
- You excel at making decisions across teams and stakeholders.
- You’re comfortable making decisions with incomplete information.
- You have a track record of growing and developing engineering talent.
