About The Role

Are you a finance professional looking for a dynamic role with fast-track progression opportunities? My client, a specialist litigation funder in the professional services sector, is seeking a Finance Assistant / Administrator to join their team during an exciting period of transition and growth. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a small, high-performing team where you can make a real impact and quickly progress to a Finance/Operations Manager role within 12 months.

In this role, you will be the linchpin between the finance and risk teams, managing the loan book and ensuring smooth disbursements. You will provide crucial support to the Head of Finance with data entry and overall financial administration. Your work will directly contribute to the management of a £15% net margin business, working with a select panel of high-quality law firms on cases ranging from housing disrepair to bank fraud.

Key Responsibilities

As the Finance Assistant / Administrator, you will take ownership of managing the loan book, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed. You will handle disbursements, including ATE insurance payments, and maintain meticulous financial records. Your role will involve providing comprehensive support to the Head of Finance, with responsibilities spanning data entry, credit control, and acting as a conduit between finance and risk teams.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of financial tasks, from basic payroll to complex financial administration. Your ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently will be key to your success in this role. As the business grows, your role will evolve, offering you the chance to take on additional responsibilities and progress quickly within the organization.
