In the UK, our network includes multiple agencies and specialist services, creating a broad range of opportunities for our people across London, Manchester and Newcastle. We are committed to building an inclusive environment where different perspectives are valued, people can be themselves, and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced People Partner to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll help create environments where people can thrive. You’ll provide expert, commercially grounded people advice, translate organisational priorities into action and partner with leaders across a broad range of people matters. This is a varied and influential role, with the opportunity to shape organisational effectiveness, support business transformation and contribute to a positive and consistent experience for our people.

What you’ll do

  • Business partnership and leadership
    • Act as the lead People Partner for your agency areas, building trusted relationships with leadership teams.
    • Partner with leaders to align people priorities with business objectives and organisational goals.
    • Provide pragmatic advice, coaching and constructive challenge to support effective decision-making.
    • Support organisational change, team effectiveness and wider business transformation.
  • Talent, organisation and workforce planning
    • Support organisational design, workforce planning, talent development and succession planning.
    • Help leaders identify capability needs, development opportunities and emerging people risks.
    • Use people data and insight to inform decisions and future planning.
    • Deliver agency and group-wide people initiatives that improve organisational effectiveness and business performance.
  • Employee relations and people experience
    • Advise on employee relations matters and support the resolution of more complex people issues.
    • Work with specialist People teams to provide a consistent employee experience.
    • Support activity that strengthens culture, inclusion, engagement and wellbeing.
  • People team contribution
    • Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to People Advisors.
    • Share expertise and best practice across the wider People Team.
    • Contribute to group-wide initiatives and projects.
    • Help create a consistent approach across our agencies while recognising the individual needs of each business.

About you

You’ll bring strong people partnering experience alongside a practical, commercially minded approach. You’ll be comfortable working closely with senior leaders, navigating complexity and translating strategy into meaningful action. You’ll combine empathy with pragmatism and constructive challenge, building credibility through sound judgement, strong relationships and a clear focus on outcomes for both our people and the business.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in a People Partner or comparable role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
  • Experience partnering with managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting organisational change, talent and workforce planning.
  • Strong coaching, influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to use data and insight to support decision-making.
  • A commercially aware approach and a strong understanding of business priorities.
  • A willingness to take ownership and focus on practical outcomes.
  • CIPD qualification, or progress towards qualification.

Why join us?

At Omnicom Media, careers are built around community, impact and opportunity. You’ll join a connected People Team, work alongside leaders across a diverse agency network and have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful organisational priorities during a period of continued change and growth.

If you’re an experienced People Partner who enjoys combining trusted business partnership with practical delivery, we’d love to hear from you.

Our commitment to inclusion

Omnicom Media is committed to providing an inclusive environment where people can bring their true selves to work, different voices are valued and everyone can thrive in a culture of equality, inclusion and fairness. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and value the talent, expertise, experience and perspective each person brings.

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance. Omnicom is committed to hiring and developing exceptional talent. We agree that talent is uniquely distributed, and we’re focused on developing inclusive teams that can bring the best solutions to everything we do. We strongly believe that celebrating what makes us different makes us better together. Join us—we look forward to getting to know you.
