As an eCommerce Manager, you will help lead the strategy, planning and execution of retail media and eCommerce initiatives for client brands across various platforms. The core focus is to provide eCommerce excellence to client's brands on retailer websites and marketplaces. This will involve, improving their retail proposition, enhance their product discoverability and drive through to conversion. The mission is to be relevant, discoverable and drive efficiencies right down to the point of purchase.

You will act as a key client contact and internal lead, translating business goals into effective retail media campaigns and digital shelf strategies that drive conversion, visibility and brand growth. You'll work cross-functionally with media planners, creative teams, data analysts and retail partners to deliver best-in-class eCommerce solutions. This role blends media expertise with commerce knowledge - requiring an in-depth understanding of platform capabilities, data-driven performance optimisation and the evolving eRetail ecosystem.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help lead the eCommerce Media Campaigns with best-in-class eCommerce retail media knowledge & strategy expertise
  • Activate and optimise campaigns, with the support of peers, across retail media platforms including Amazon, Citrus & Criteo, Tesco Sphere, Nectar Pollen and PlanApps. Experience with SKAI or PacVue is also beneficial
  • Develop roadmaps with clients to ensure continuous testing of new products and formats
  • Work closely with internal agency teams to develop connected strategies with Above the line (ATL) media
  • Understand and identify key growth opportunities for clients on eCommerce platforms (Amazon, Grocery.com) and formulate steps needed to set them up for eCommerce success across retail, promotion, content and media
  • Communicate with clients and internal teams, delivering analysis, insight and strategy to an audience with varied eCommerce understanding
  • Provide recommendations to improve sales & category share, through effective retail & marketing planning
  • Analyse multiple data sources, highlighting the most relevant KPIs for clients, drawing key insights and writing commentary within the context
  • Help train and mentor/manage junior team members
  • Stay updated on the latest retail media platform capabilities, eCommerce innovations and emerging shopper behaviours

Skills and Experience

  • You have a good understanding of retail media strategy and activation on platforms such as Amazon, Criteo & Citrus at either a digital agency, consulting firm or client-side.
  • You are familiar with data analysis, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing consulting and supply chain.
  • You stay informed about emerging technologies, including AI and are open to exploring how automation and AI tools can enhance creativity, performance and efficiency in media.
  • You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to efficiently analyse data and produce effective presentation materials.
  • You can lead, mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth, collaboration and high performance.
