We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Canvey Island. This full-time, contract role provides an exciting opportunity to inspire students and develop their understanding of the world, human interaction, and environmental issues.

As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons, helping students develop critical thinking and analytical skills while fostering a passion for geographical enquiry. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons, aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Teach physical, human, and environmental geography at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential for A-Level.
  • Inspire students to analyse, evaluate, and debate geographical issues.
  • Support students in preparing for GCSE and A-Level Geography examinations, providing targeted interventions where needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
