The OTW Senior Quality Advisor will support the implementation and oversight of quality assurance practices across projects within the business unit. This operational supporting role ensures compliance with ISO standards, supports project delivery teams, and drives continuous improvement in quality performance and customer satisfaction. The role requires regular engagement with OTW quality and wider SHE teams, project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that quality standards are consistently applied and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Strong operational oversight, regular site visits, and close collaboration with Business Unit management, project management and teams, subcontractors, and other OTW functions are required.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Operational Oversight
- Function as the initial focal point for all quality-related matters across assigned GGP projects/packages.
- Support implementation and compliance of the Omexom Management System (QMS) and ISO 9001 standards.
- Assist project teams in developing and applying Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring adherence and documentation using appropriate digital systems.
- Ensure appropriate levels of quality surveillance, inspection, and control are applied throughout project execution.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Serve as the initial focal point for all quality-related matters across assigned projects.
- Create and manage the Quality Project Delivery Process (QPDP), ensuring key quality milestones and deliverables are completed.
- Provide clear quality critical path milestones into the OTW GGP Project/Package Programmes.
- Provide training and regular best practice updates to project teams on ITPs.
- Ensure appropriate levels of quality surveillance, inspection, and control are applied using nominated digital systems.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Support project teams and OTW functions in applying quality standards across projects.
- Assist in developing and documenting ITPs and ensure compliance using mandated digital systems.
- Provide input into monthly Business Unit board meetings, presenting key quality topics.
- Support operational and tendering teams, ensuring quality considerations are integrated into project planning and bids.
- Training & Awareness
- Deliver quality awareness training for new employees and ongoing training initiatives.
- Mentor and support development plans for nominated quality advisors and other team members.
- Create and deliver quality toolbox talks across the Business Unit.
- Ensure compliance with Omexom and client quality procedures and expectations.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify gaps in the quality management system and support development of improved processes.
- Monitor, encourage reporting of Non-Conformances (NCRs) and Lessons Learnt (LLs), ensuring incorporation into QPDP.
- Apply Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) principles as part of the OTW Quality Team’s DNA.
- Lead and support initiatives to enhance the Quality Management System and Omexom ways of working.
- Stay informed of industry standards and best practices to ensure compliance and implement innovative solutions.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in a similar role.
- Working towards a Lead Auditor qualification, underpinning ISO 9001 clause 9.2.
- Membership of a professional body (e.g., CQI) preferred.
- Experience in a quality role within construction or infrastructure.
- Experience managing non-conformances and conducting root cause analysis.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
- Recognised training in accident/incident investigation.
- Experience supporting quality deliverables at project level.

- Strong understanding of quality standards and customer specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, digital systems, and reporting applications.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
