The Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a pivotal role within Omexom’s Major Projects North Business Unit, leading commercial activities across multiple projects. This role involves strategic oversight, mentoring junior QS staff, and ensuring commercial excellence in project delivery. The jobholder will interface with senior stakeholders across Planning, Finance, Engineering, and Legal, and act as a key advisor to Project Managers and the Commercial Manager.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Champion a safe working environment and promote SHEQ compliance.
- Lead commercial strategy and execution across multiple projects, or where applicable possibly due to value, one major contract.
- Develop and maintain high-level relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation and negotiation of subcontract documentation, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Manage complex subcontract packages, including interim assessments, change control, and final.
