Role Overview

Reporting directly to the AI Transformation Office, the AI Enablement & Adoption Specialist is a highly approachable, people‑centric guide dedicated to accelerating AI fluency across our corporate office. The role is a student internship for the Fall term (September to December). In this hybrid position you will act as both a hands‑on coach and an adoption advocate, empowering employees to confidently integrate enterprise AI tools—specifically Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, and Claude—into their daily tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on‑demand floor support, lightweight training, and immediate troubleshooting to ensure employees maximize AI productivity securely and effectively.
  • Act as the visible, go‑to resource in the office, offering 1:1 and small‑group troubleshooting, prompt refinement, and assistance for employees using Copilot, Gemini or Claude.
  • Develop and deliver micro‑training sessions, host office hours, and produce practical “how‑to” guides that demonstrate effective AI use for daily tasks.
  • Monitor tool usage, collect employee feedback, identify common hurdles, and share success stories and use cases to organically grow adoption across the organization.
  • Help individuals apply AI directly to the work in front of them—such as drafting emails, summarizing meetings, and generating ideas—without the need for formal, large‑scale business process mapping.
  • Educate staff on the company’s AI governance policies, ensuring data privacy, risk mitigation, and safety guardrails are followed during daily AI use.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous background in corporate support, peer coaching, training, IT helpdesk, or technology adoption; strong aptitude, enthusiasm, and a track record of helping others.
  • Strong practical familiarity with generative AI tools—specifically Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Claude—including prompt engineering basics and a clear understanding of their corporate capabilities and limitations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical AI concepts into accessible, actionable advice for non‑technical employees.
  • Practical, solution‑oriented mindset focused on helping users overcome immediate roadblocks and craft better prompts.
  • High degree of emotional intelligence, empathy and patience to guide employees with varying levels of tech‑savviness or hesitations about adopting AI tools.
  • High degree of initiative and a self‑starter mentality, proactively identifying opportunities, engaging employees, and driving adoption without awaiting requests.
