Reporting into the AI Transformation Office, the Associate, AI Enablement & Adoption is a highly approachable, people-centric guide dedicated to accelerating AI fluency across our corporate office.
Operating as a hybrid between a hands-on coach and an adoption advocate, you will empower employees to confidently integrate enterprise AI tools — specifically Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Claude — into their daily work.
This role is important because you are the visible, go-to resource on the floor: providing on-demand support, lightweight training, and immediate troubleshooting so our teams can maximize their productivity securely, effectively, and without frustration.

Responsibilities
- On-Demand Coaching & Support Act as the visible, go-to AI resource in the office, approachable to employees at every level of comfort and skill.
Provide 1:1 and small-group troubleshooting, prompt refinement, and immediate assistance for employees who are stuck or unsure how to get started with AI tools.
- Training & Enablement Develop and deliver lightweight micro-training and practical “how-to” resources that demonstrate effective, real-world ways to use AI for everyday tasks.
- Adoption Advocacy Monitor tool usage and recommend targeted actions to drive uptake across teams.
Collect employee feedback, success stories, and use-case examples to inform and refine adoption tactics.
- Task-Level Integration Help individuals apply AI directly to the work in front of them — e. g., drafting emails, summarizing meetings, and generating ideas — without the need for large-scale, formal business process mapping.
- Responsible AI Guidance Educate employees on OMERS AI governance policies, ensuring data privacy, risk mitigation, and safe guardrails are followed during daily AI use.
- Required Skills & Experience
- Strong practical familiarity with generative AI tools — specifically Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Claude — including prompt engineering basics and a clear understanding of their corporate capabilities and limitations.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical AI concepts into accessible, actionable advice for non-technical employees.
- High degree of emotional intelligence and patience to guide employees with varying levels of comfort and skill with AI tools.
- Strong organization, problem-solving, and prioritization skills, with a demonstrated curiosity for understanding user needs and finding solutions.
- Preferred Skills & Experience
- University degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience in a technology-driven role (e. g., corporate support, training, IT helpdesk, technology adoption, or related experience).
- Strong familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exposure to change management, employee enablement, or technology adoption programs in a corporate environment.
