The main duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Contribute to the achievement of the company's business objectives by providing strategic advice and guidance.
- Monitor and interpret key commercial and operational metrics (e.g., margin drivers, customer profitability, utilisation, cost-to-serve) and proactively identify opportunities to improve financial performance, partnering with business leaders to implement actions that optimise results.
- Lead the development of long-range financial and commercial forecasts, building dynamic models that assess strategic options and market scenarios, and translate these into a clear financial roadmap outlining the actions required to achieve medium- and long-term targets.
- Closely work alongside the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to:
- Prepare detailed quarterly forecasts with accompanying analysis.
- Provide detailed financial and scenario analysis to offer useful insight to inform key business decisions.
- Provide variance analysis on monthly and quarterly results.
- Embed financial understanding at all levels across the business.
What do I need to be eligible to apply?
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent and at least 10 years of accounting/finance work experience (At least 5 years must be senior management level), including completion of a relevant professional qualification (CA, CIMA, ACCA).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of data analysis, modelling, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of IFRS accounting.
- Excellent IT skills including high proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines. The ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively and efficiently.
Ideally, the candidate will also possess:
- Previous experience within the software industry.
- Big 6 Audit experience.
- Experience of working in a multi-currency environment with a North American-based parent company.
- Knowledge of ERP Accounting systems.
- Experience in relaying financial information to non-finance managers and staff.
