We're looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team. This is a varied and hands-on position involving the commissioning of equipment, plant, and systems both across the UK and internationally. You'll play a key role in ensuring systems are installed, tested, and operating safely and efficiently, while working closely with customers to achieve successful project delivery.

This role would suit an engineer with a strong electrical engineering background, excellent fault-finding skills, and experience working with motor control and inverter control systems.

  • Commissioning equipment, plant, and systems at customer sites
  • Developing and carrying out test procedures to verify system performance
  • Performing electrical and mechanical testing, calibration, and system setup
  • Configuring and setting up electronic data acquisition systems
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical and control system faults
  • Providing initial customer training on the operation of supplied systems
  • Travelling to customer sites throughout the UK and overseas as required

Proven experience in a Commissioning Engineer or similar role

Practical electrical engineering background

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics

Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively within the UK and internationally

Overtime paid at basic rate

~£6,000 annual car allowance

~37.5-hour working week, Monday to Friday. Monday-Thursday 10:00-16:00 Friday 10:00-12:00 with an early finish

~25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays

~Option to purchase up to 3 additional days' leave
