Salary: £40,111.36 per annum (including standby allowance)

Contract Type: Permanent

Omega are supporting a leading facilities management provider in the recruitment of an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the team to work on a leading supermarket contract at their distribution sites. The role will involve maintaining and repairing a range of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment at distribution sites, undertaking regular reactive, PPMs and minor repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
  • Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance.
  • Advise the on-site customer (manager) of any repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the site.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (On call every second week)

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation or maintenance.

  • ~ OT paid at 1.5x Mon - Fri / 2x Sat-Sun.
