Our client is a specialist CNC service provider that works with top-end CNC manufacturers. They are seeking a field service engineer to join their growing team.
Responsibilities & Duties β CNC Service Engineer
- Service and maintain our ranges of Machine Tools and 3rd party customer machines.
- Attend site to diagnose all issues and rectify in a timely manner.
- Undertake planned maintenance of machines.
- Identify any parts required and order via Service and/or Spares department.
- Build relationships with customers and colleagues for constant improvement.
- Explain all actions undertaken to the service team and customers, documenting in the form of a written report on the company's system.
- Observe and adhere to company health & safety guidelines and contribute to a healthy and safe working environment.
Essential experience and qualifications β CNC Service Engineer
- Recognised engineering qualification in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
- Experience fault finding and repairing CNC machinery.
- Experience with Heidenhain, Siemens or Fanuc control systems.
