Job Role: Warehouse Team Manager – Dayshift

Location: North Yorkshire North Leeds Harrogate Wetherby area commute

Job Type: Permanent

Reward – Up to 36k Target Band plus discounts bonus and overtime

This is a day’s shift position NO NIGHTS

Our client is a large multi-site manufacturing and logistics company with ongoing business growth and expansion in its business. As a result, there is an immediate recruitment for a new Warehouse and Distribution Day shift Team Leader / Front-line Manager (FLM).

As a Warehouse Team Manager, reporting into the Warehouse Manager, you will manage an area of the operation in a busy distribution/warehouse hub.

You will lead and develop a small team of warehouse operatives across, achieving and exceeding your performance targets.

Work within daily tight deadlines to ensure customers receive their orders

You will allocate resources and your team effectively to maximise area output

Monitoring and driving KPIs

Setting performance targets, reviewing progress, and creating action plans

Spotting and developing talent in your team through coaching and guidance

You will manage team briefings to keep colleagues informed of performance targets

Requirements: Warehouse Team Manager – Dayshift

• Experience as a team leader of warehouse frontline manager – Manufacturing/FMCG /3pl /E-Comm preferred.

• Working knowledge of a WMS system is essential.

•Previous supervisory experience within a similar environment

• Excellent administration and organisational skills

• Management/Supervisory experience within a large-scale production/warehouse operation

•A proven track record of people management and delivering strong results through a team in a people management role.
