The predicted salary is between 32000 - 48000 £ per year.
Our client is an award-winning fleet management company who are continuing to grow yearly. They are seeking a compliance and build specialist to join their Birmingham office. The role will be responsible for setting the service schedules and plans for the company’s largest client.
Responsibilities:
- Support the vehicle build team with the day-to-day activities of vehicle build.
- Manage technical support aspects on behalf of the customer.
- Ensure that all vehicle build output specifications adhere to and exceed the requirements laid out in UK & EU Type Approval and other associated legislation.
- Support the relationship with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure end products are delivered to time and budget to meet BT’s SLA’s.
- Identify and evaluate new technology and help produce business case for change.
- Support the vehicle ordering and Key for Key delivery process for specialist builds where required.
- Complete all documentation for each build and file accordingly to ensure full end-to-end auditability.
Qualification/Experience:
- Mechanical qualifications to NVQ Level or equivalent.
- Additional education, certifications, CPC or other equivalent formal industry training is preferred.
- UK & EU Type Approval and other associated legislation.
- Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
- 2-4 years’ experience in vehicle build management or related fields.
- Up to date knowledge of vehicle & bodybuilding manufacturing/fabrication techniques.
- Experience in first and second stage multi-supplier relationships.
- Competent and thorough understanding of current vehicle safety legislation.
