We are seeking an experienced Product Engineering professional to join a prominent aerospace engineering business for a 6 month contract to support growth. You will be responsible for resolving complex issues related to the design, assembly, and testing processes of production hardware, predominantly centered around hydraulics.

  • Writing or maintaining Assembly Instructions and Production Worksheets.
  • Developing mitigation actions identified in PFMEA.
  • Identifying tooling requirements needed in assembly and test environment.
  • Analyse production data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support product and process changes.
  • Conduct GD&T analysis of assemblies and components for non-conforming parts.

Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Core experience in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
