This is a fantastic opportunity for a Test Equipment Technician to join a rapidly growing aerospace business with some incredible new projects coming through. As a result, the Test Systems Engineering function will need to grow opening an excellent opportunity for someone to join the team.

You’ll lead the commissioning of complex, bespoke Test Equipment that supports the Qualification and Production Acceptance testing.

Duties:
  • Commission new Test Equipment in line with technical requirements
  • Oversee and support mechanical and electrical assembly tasks
  • Lead integration and formal verification testing, and analysis of results
  • Facilitate customer validation and correlation testing activities
  • Annotate part and assembly drawings to reflect ‘as built’ condition
  • Independently troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Support calibration procedure development and facility readiness
Background:
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
  • Apprenticeship-trained background (advantageous)
  • Experience with Test Systems or Test Equipment commissioning
  • Familiarity with Systems Engineering principles, especially Verification and Validation
  • Ability to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
