My client is a global leader within the automation and packing industry who offer end to end manufacturing solutions to their clients.

They are now on the lookout for a Proposals and Project Engineer to join their team based in Swindon.

Role and Responsibilities – Proposals & Project Engineer

This role is crucial to delivering on high end projects to key markets within the business and UK market. It will look to manage technical sales proposals and support project delivery.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the scoping and definition of turnkey solutions, ensuring customer requirements are clearly defined, understood, and met.
  • Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans and conferring with management.
  • Assist and support the Project Manager in developing integrated system layouts using 2D CAD.
  • Control project plans by reviewing designs, specifications, and schedule changes, and recommending actions.

Experience or Qualifications – Proposals & Project Engineer

  • Degree, HND or HNC Educated within Technical / STEM background (Mechanical Engineering preferable)
  • Proifeincy in 2D CAD software and some SOLIDWORKS preferable
  • Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Previous experience in the food or medical industries (preferable)
