Job Role – Payroll Assistant

Reporting to the HR Manager the role of Payroll Assistant will play a pivotal role within the HR department by ensuring a seamless administrative and payroll function is delivered.

Duties – Payroll Assistant

  • Supporting the administration and control of the weekly payroll for a large workforce
  • Working with the Shared Service Centre to ensure payroll is processed accurately and within deadlines
  • Managing T&A data and ensuring all system inputs are timely and accurate
  • Administering payroll deductions, including statutory payments
  • Producing and sharing daily and weekly reports on labour hours, holidays, sickness and overtime
  • Supporting managers with T&A queries and exception reporting
  • Ensuring T&A rules are applied consistently and fairly
  • Monitoring labour tracking processes, including transfers between cost centres
  • Providing insight and reporting to support effective labour cost management

Experience/Qualifications – Payroll Assistant

  • Excellent IT Skills – use of Excel and Databases

Candidates who are currently a HR Assistant, Payroll Assistant, Payroll Administrator, Human Resource Administrator, HR Admin and HR Officer could be suitable for this position.
