We have an excellent opportunity for an analytical Senior Mechanical Engineering professional to join a prominent global aerospace business in a Senior Engineering position.
You will be responsible for leading the development of innovative aerospace products throughout the product lifecycle, including design, development, testing and qualification. You’ll be joining a fantastic team in a purpose-built modern facility where you’ll be able to showcase your skills and expertise in a highly technical and challenging product development role.
Duties – Senior Product Development Engineer
- Technical development of products from concept through to flight qualification.
- Translating customer requirements into robust engineering solutions.
- Supporting the design and development of high-performance aerospace components.
- Coordinating technical activities and engineering deliverables.
- Coordinating development and qualification testing.
- Working with cross functional engineering departments to deliver success.
Background – Senior Product Development Engineer
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Aerospace or related Engineering discipline.
- Able to lead technical activities across product development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of verification, validation and qualification testing.
- Experience using Siemens NX or similar CAD software.
- Experience using analysis tools such as Mathcad, CFD, and FEA.
Candidates who are currently a Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Product Support Engineer, Systems Engineer, Analysis Engineer, Hydraulic Engineer, Sustainment Engineer, Development Engineer or Design Engineer might be suitable for this position.
