Responsibilities
- Support and promote quality management processes across the site.
- Drive a strong quality culture through hands-on engagement with production, engineering and supply chain teams.
- Analyse quality data to identify trends, risks, non-conformances and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead investigations into customer complaints and quality issues using structured root cause analysis methodologies.
- Implement and monitor corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) to ensure long-term resolution of quality concerns.
- Conduct internal audits and support supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop, monitor and improve supplier performance, addressing quality issues and supporting supplier development activities.
- Assist with supplier approval processes and ongoing supplier quality management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving operational performance.
- Review technical drawings and quality documentation to verify compliance with specifications.
- Complete and review PPAP documentation where required.
Experience / Qualifications
- Previous experience within a Quality, Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Quality role.
- Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone, 5 Whys or similar techniques.
- Experience managing supplier quality performance and supplier development programmes.
- Good understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Experience conducting internal and supplier audits.
- Proven background implementing and managing CAPA processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience completing or reviewing PPAP documentation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Manufacturing, engineering or industrial sector experience would be highly advantageous.
- A hands-on approach with a passion for solving technical and quality-related challenges.
