This is a fantastic opportunity to join a buoyant employer in the Gloucestershire area in a non-technical Programme Management opportunity.

You’ll be working in the aerospace sector to deliver projects on time and within budget for some major customers, ensuring the customer experience is centric to all activities.

You’ll ideally be an outstanding communicator with a background supporting manufacturing operations within a matrix structure organisation.

Duties - Customer Programme Manager
  • Lead programmes and the associated P&L assigned to them.
  • Internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver projects successfully.
  • Manage product changes required for obsolescence resolution, reliability improvement, cost reduction or in response to customer request.
  • Continuous improvement of assigned business processes.
  • Run project reviews, ensuring robust project, financial and commercial governance.
  • Deliver bid and proposals for new programmes.
  • Occasional travel internationally to customer sites (up to 10%).
Background - Customer Programme Manager
  • Educated to Degree level in relevant subject.
  • Hold project Management qualifications.
  • Proven experience working in a matrixed manufacturing organization.
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • Able to manage project scope, resources, cost, schedule and risk.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Problem solving capability.
