Production Engineer Location: Job Type: Permanent Our client, an established, globally recognised manufacturing business that specialises in crawler track systems are on the hunt for a Production Engineer. You will be working closely with the likes of Quality Assurance and Engineering to overall improve the outcome of manufacturing. Continually review, improve and streamline design and manufacturing processes to improve safety, efficiency and quality Feedback loop into Design Engineering team to continually improve existing or new products assembly processes with a focus on safety, risk mitigation, poke yoke or improving product quality Improve, develop or introduce core business processes as required including being responsible for training production team members in a variety of fields such as basic hydraulic awareness, tooling use or management and to assembly build standards. Implement lean principles and integrate continuous improvement into the Production Engineer role Degree educated or proven experience in an engineering function (mechanical bias) An understanding of engineering management systems including Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety. A strong right first-time approach with the ability to analyse manufacturing processes and propose specific improvements to improve overall product quality Competitive Pension Scheme Candidates who currently are a Production Engineer, Process Engineer, NPI Engineer, Production Quality Engineer or may be suitable for this position.
